LapCabby began with one request. In 2002, a reseller of our parent company Monarch, which had been making furniture for schools, hospitals and offices in Nottingham for over 30 years, asked us to design and build a trolley to house and charge 16 laptops for a local school. So we did.
By 2006, that simple, functional trolley had grown into a range, because our customers kept telling us exactly what drove them mad: cable spaghetti, broken chargers, laptops damaged in transit, walls scraped by square corners. We brought in a team of industrial product designers to solve each problem properly. That is when LapCabby was born.
Devices have changed size and shape since, the sectors we serve have multiplied, and our products now ship to more than 50 countries. The method has never changed: listen to the people who use the products, then design for what they told us.

Every LapCabby product is CE certified and conforms to BS EN 62368-1, the electrical safety standard for equipment like ours, and we lifetime test product components, including our lock systems. The company holds three ISO certifications: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for health and safety. And the ROSPA Award has come our way every year. We would rather prove safety than talk about it.
