Who we are

LapCabby is the sister brand of Monarch Education Furniture, which had been making furniture for schools, hospitals and offices in Nottingham for over 30 years before the first trolley existed.

2002

One request

A reseller asked us to build a trolley to house and charge 16 laptops for a local school. So we did.

2006

One request became a range

Customers told us what drove them mad: cable spaghetti, broken chargers, scraped walls. We brought in product designers to solve each one properly.

Today

Shipping to 50+ countries

Devices have changed shape, the sectors have multiplied. The method has not: listen to the people who use the products, then design for what they told us.

Every product in the LapCabby charging range carries a lifetime warranty on the unit and a 5 year electrical warranty. No complicated exclusions, no small print gymnastics. When we say lifetime, we mean it.

Every unit arrives built, tested and ready to plug in. No hidden assembly costs, and no afternoon lost to an Allen key. Delivery scales from a single unit on a next day service to multi site rollouts through our resellers, and larger orders can start with a demo unit, so you can test before you commit.

Certified where it counts

Every LapCabby product is CE certified and conforms to BS EN 62368-1, the product safety standard for equipment like ours. We lifetime test the components, including the lock systems, because we would rather prove safety than talk about it.

Custom builds when the catalogue does not fit

Some briefs do not fit a standard product: unusual devices, hundreds of sites, awkward spaces. LapCabby Projects designs around the requirement instead, the way a bespoke charging station solved a battery problem for Aldo across 500 stores in three countries. If your requirement is unusual, that is not a problem. It is a brief.
