USB C ports provide up to 45W Power Delivery (enough to fully charge a tablet in around 2 hours) while USB A ports provide 10.5W. Auto-detects each connected device and adjusts the output current to the maximum permitted by the device manufacturer and USB specifications. Once a device is fully charged, trickle charging continues at a rate equal to its self-discharge, keeping the battery at 100%.
